Torrington mosaic Project 

The Torrington Mosaic project was created to highlight and acknowledge the immigrant experience. The Torrington Mosaic website is a medium for locals, made by locals that aims to connect neighbor to neighbor. On our website you can find informational clips about immigration in Connecticut and Torrington, the personal stories of immigrants, and the many faces of our community. Our mission is to capture the narratives of Torrington immigrants in their own words and native languages when possible to create a conversation and accessible information about immigration in our community.

The Torrington Mosaic is a collaborative effort between the Torrington Historical Society and Northwestern Connecticut Community College's Team Success Scholars as part of an ongoing community action project.
